The Nursery

The nursery is painted and the carpet is removed! :) We're getting somewhere.

23 weeks 5 days

In two days I'll be six months pregnant, can you believe it? I can't. Summer is flying by. We started our 6 week childbirth class, which is pretty much modern Lamaze, and it's very informative. It's nice to know what is about to happen! hahaha.

Josh and I always have projects going on at home and we're finally at the point to start baby's room. yay! I'll post pics soon.

20 Weeks

Due to the movie The Hangover and some funny cousins we have the baby is now referred to as Carlos. hahahaha. They crack me up.

I can't believe I'm halfway already, time is flying. I can feel baby moving about everyday now and I occasionally can see my belly move. Josh is anxiously waiting to feel tiny kicks, should be soon!

Ultrasound

We went to our ultrasound this morning and baby is doing great.

The baby was a little stinker and wouldn't let them see his/her face. But we saw a yawn, a wave and a little foot with 5 toes. :)

18 weeks

Here is a pic of me at 18 weeks, my mom thinks I look like she did when she was pregnant with my brother so her guess is a boy right now. :) Baby is the 5 1/2" from head to butt and weighs around 7oz. The big ultrasound is only four days away!! I can't wait to see baby Soderberg.

baby update

I went to my appointment today with my midwife and baby is doing great, heart rate was 143 which the range in 120-160. Now we wait impatiently for the phone to ring to schedule the ultrasound which should be within the next couple weeks!! I can't wait to see baby moving about. And belly is certainly growing since the baby is now 5" from head to little butt. :) I'll post new pics soon!

15 weeks and counting

Three weeks ago we got to hear baby's heartbeat, it was so cute, I think I could listen to it all day. There was a lot of shuffling about and thuds (little baby kicks). The midwife's assitant said we have a very active one on our hands, go figure. Just like mommy already. :)

And so the baby belly begins! Baby Soderberg is now about the size of an apple and is growing everyday. Baby can sense light and is forming tastebuds. Our next appt. is June 9th and we'll be scheduling the big ultrasound! yay!
